To give beekeepers the necessary information about traceability and organic honey production. Vietnam Beekeeper Association (VBA) and Dongnai honey bee Corporation (APIDONA) with QSI - Quality Services International GmbH held a seminar on "Traceability and production of organic honey " at Hall Company from 13 - 15/10/2010. With the information necessary and useful to beekeepers as well as the manager, workshop brought together 30 participants from the export company specializing in large honey in Vietnam.
In this workshop, Mr. Willi B. Werk German experts of QSI Chemistry presented on the production of organic honey and other regulations in the world, organic farming bees under EU regulations, analysis and risk management (HACCP) in the organic beekeeper.
Mr. Andreas WallBaum expert project management of QSI presentation on traceability in the production of organic honey, steps to obtain a certificate of organic honey products.
After five theory sessions, in the afternoon of 15/10/2010, association departure to Mr. Hung’s bee farm in Long Khanh to practice, to check the certificate of organic bee farm.
Through this workshop, these deficiencies in the management of our bees so much as may be numbered on each beehives to manage bees, no Records Management bee ... These are points that should be overcome in the near future.
After the workshop, participants were awarded certificates for the course "traceability and production of organic honey" by QSI organization.
